Molds

Molds are used in production machines to produce various parts required by injection molding, blow molding, extrusion, die casting or forging forming, smelting, stamping and other methods. To put it bluntly, a mold is a tool for processing metal parts, made of metal or other materials, with a cavity or concave-convex structure in the shape of the desired part. Molds can be used in various manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die casting, extrusion, and stamping. Its function is to pour liquid metal or alloy into a pre-prepared cavity, and solidify and form it under pressure. The application of molds enables stable, rhythmic and efficient production of high-quality parts with good appearance and internal quality, and whose dimensions meet the requirements of drawings or agreements.
The emergence of molds allows parts to be produced in large quantities because molds allow parts to be repeatable and consistent. The service life is also very long, greatly reducing the cost of component manufacturing. It is not an exaggeration to say that the use of molds accelerated the process of the industrial revolution.
