Principle of operation

- Pouring system: the location of the gate opening should make the liquid metal flow smoothly into the cavity, and prevent the rolled gas and oxidation.
- Discharge system: discharge the solidified metal liquid in time to ensure the filling state of the cavity.
Injection system design:
The function of the injection system is to suck the liquid aluminum alloy into the gate and press the aluminum alloy into the mold cavity under pressure. The design of the injection system should consider the selection of the injection machine, gate size and gate speed and other factors.
Exhaust system design:
In the process of filling the mold cavity with aluminum alloy, some gases may be involved, which cannot be discharged after the aluminum alloy solidifies, resulting in defects such as porosity or looseness of the product. Therefore, the exhaust system is designed to avoid these defects.
Design of mold release device:
The mold release device is a mechanism used to eject the die casting. The following factors need to be considered when designing the mold release device:
- Diameter and number of ejector rods: the diameter of ejector rods should be at a suitable distance from the cavity surface of the mold, and the number should be determined according to the stress on the die casting.
- Ejector distance: the ejector distance should be set so that the die casting is smoothly detached from the cavity without damaging the die casting and mold.
